Ford finally acknowledged that my truck had a head gasket/ stud problem. After 3 dealerships, the last one diagnosed the problem. The tea kettle noise was so loud. They are even doing the ARP studs for me. Of course they are ripping me off on the price. $750 for the set.

By driving my truck for almost 9 months with the problem, did the engine experience any damage or additional wear and tear due to the gasket problem ?
My oil has some green tint to it even after just changing it. Is this from the anti-freeze getting past the rings once it leaked into the cylinder ? No milkey residue just a green tint when I wipe the oil off the drain plug.

I would definately have them take a look at the heads and either have them machined if the wear isn't too bad or have them replace the heads. Even with studs, if you just put a new gasket on there and the heads are warped your going to have problems again, the only good news is that you'll be able to reuse those studs for the next time

I would believe so, when I had a head problem on my old tractor, the coolant made it's way into the oil as well.
When my heads blew the shop recomended getting them flux tested to make sure the heads wern't warped. Ended up that both heads a really small cracks between the connections of the cylinder holes. I could see the magnent dust with my bare eyes. Not good news, I was out of warrenty by like 100 miles, and new heads were expensive. But im glad that I found out sooner than later, if you know what I mean.
Now with new heads and ARP studs I feel pretty solid about the truck. I just hope my block was straight.
You shouldn't be seeing green due to coolant as the 6.0's came with gold coolant. The dealership may have added dye to the oil to look for leaks, and if so, it shows up with a greenish tint.

From the time I started checking my coolant(which was after the first change of coolant) it had always been with a green tint. I don't know how it came from the factory, but from then on it has for sure been with the green tint.
The green coolant is o.k. to run in them, it just doesn't have the flush / change interval that the gold does though. For the ARP studs....there's nothing that says you can't provide them and I know they can be found cheaper than $750.

Actaully no its not ok to use. It has a very high silicate content, which leads to silicate drop out along with clogged passages and cavitation. This is why ford has gone with the gold coolant its a HOAT type coolant.
Hence the flush/ change interval difference. It won't destroy the motor if it is changed when recommended. I have the green (from the factory) in my 2003 7.3L and the gold in my 2007 6.0, the dealer topped off the 6.0 with green and I made them flush / change because of it, it won't hurt the internals if changed accordingly. My arguement with them was why would I want to change it earlier if what I had in their (gold) would allow me to "postpone" the cost of flush/ change?
Exactly...why pay $750. Someone posted a link another day to the ARP studs for $409. If u need em quick, Summits the place.
The $409 price doesn't include shipping which is another $28 or more. I bought mine from Discounty Power Parts for $449 total cost and received them two days later.
Dealers or most shops for that matter don't cut you a break on parts. It's easy profit.
