Exclamation does yours leak? pic
Back side of the hydro booster as it comes through the firewall and connects to the brake pedal assembly. A tech pointed this out to me today, dont know how long its been doing it but i had moisture on the backside of it and if i push the pedal in and out a very small amount seems to come in and out of the pushrod? Anyone have exp with this? What should i do? Thx<center>

Maybe a seal or O-ring has gone bad. I do not know anything about these so I really can't help you.

dude you need a master cylinder and a booster. THe booster shouldn't have any fluid in it and its full from the master cylinder leaking into it.

does the booster operate off vaccuum or fluid pressure? Either way it needs to be replaced

The rear O ring in the Hydro boost is failing.You can remove and reseal the unit for around 80.00 parts. A reman hydro boost is about 300.00

What tools besides the clip remover and seal would i need? Does the system have to be relieved of pressure to do this, thanks for your help

Wayne in a powerstroke diesel they dont create a vaccum so the booster relies on pressure and pump of the power steering pump.

Is that the accumulator portion of the booster, can this be removed and the seal replaced? Or does the whole thing have to come out?
