460 timing

460 timing

How do I set the timing on my 460? Do I disconnect the vacuum advance? What should the timing be set at? Some times when I try to start it it acts like it is firing against itself. Wouldn't you think that is timing?

yes disconnect the vac line and set to 10-14 make sure that the vac advance is'nt stuck
