Pimp'n the CD

If any of you have the stock CD player you want to sell, I'm interested. I'll upgrade later to an aftermarket, but not until I have the 4" exhaust and chip. PM me with details. Sorry about the double post, things here are still a little squirrelly.

Sell? No way ...I'll give you one though (this is the FTE way) . Send your mailing address to me as a PM and I'll get it sent out to you pronto (if I have a box, I probably can get it shipped today). If you like, you can make a contribution to the Semper Fi Fund in lieu of buying the unit and shipping charges. This is the unit you are looking for, right?

can't rep you right now Neal, but I will when I can

to all FTE members, Pay It Forward if you can, cause someday you might need something that someone else has in their shop collecting dust.

It is also a testament to the type of folks that regularly visit this forum. I have given, and I have recieved, it is the way things are done around here.

Wink

Will It fit a 2000? I tried looking at your profile and it's not coming up. If it'll fit, consider it gone. Thanks a bunch. I've PM'd you, gently BTW - nice Nova. I have a 72 LeMans (LeRons) that'll be my project/hotrod.

Can you see the picture I posted of it? I think they call it a double-DIN size radio/cd/tape player. It will fit most years...I PM'd you back. I can't find a dang box yet!!! Still looking, but I got to get ready to do my weekly truck run. If it doesn't go out today, it will go out tomorrow though.

Thanks for the compliment on the Nova...just starting to bring the interior back to stock...you wouldn't believe how difficult it is to find someone to make stock upholstery!

yes, it will fit. I sent mine out of my 99.5 to JD (Jdecker) in Tenn and it fit his.

Neal, is that a picture of a sumo wrestler on the wall above the palnt???
I don't know why, but that picture just kinda caught my eye, and could not figure out what it is.

It should definately fit, I had the same CD player in my 2000, and the same one in my 2001 too. The way people help each other out on this site really goes to show what good people are on this site.

I don't think those stereos ever changed from '99 +. I have an early '99 and my stock unit looks exactly like the one Neal posted (except on his you can see what the buttons say)

Rep points to you Neal! You're one of the good ones.

Thanks for the bright spot in my day!

Ha...no Brandon, it isn't a summo wrestler! It is a picture by Diego Rivera...a woman putting a load of calla lillies on her back. She is on her knees. Notice the feet and part of a bald head in the picture? It's the guy helping her load the lillies.
