460 FE Accessory Brackets

Is anyone familiar with the Stock OE Accessories brackets on a '87 - '97 EFI 460? I have an old 70's 460 block and wondering if the EFI brackets will bolt up. I know I would need to switch over to the newer style Ford alternators, PS pump, and Sanden A/C Compressors. I am not sure if the EFI Crank pulley would bolt up to my old Carb Harmonic Balancer. I need help.... I really don't want to buy the "March 460 Serpentine Conversion Kit". Don't get me wrong - looks like a great setup but a little too decorated for what I am intrested in.

not exactly what youre lookin for, but our 88 is in the garage right now so if you want dimensions or pics, i might be able to help. im not going to tear anything off, but theres enough space to get at it pretty well. just let me know what you want and ill see what i can do. good luck.

Thats nice of you to offer - I don't want anyone to go to that extent for me.

I iam in process of purchasing a remanufactured long block to put in my '71. Originally had an FE block so I am in the dark as to what will fit. I have no brackets or harmonic balancer (or tin for that matter). I would rather use a Serpentine setup.

The brackets will fit but on the EFI heads the bolt holes for the bracket mounting bolts are bigger. Im not sure of the size but your options are drill and tap the carb heads to the larger size or use smaller bolts.

This is excellent news. Do I need to use the harmonic balancer off of the EFI motor or use the older Carb balancer?

Thanks!

Doesn't matter which one you use. I used the serpentine pulley on an older balancer, it bolted right up.

Any engine balance issues?
