Excursion Tools

Well, a headlight tool I suppose. Should work on more cars and trucks than just the Excursion. Is there a specialized tool to reach up into the headlight socket, raise the tabs that lock the wires/plug in place, and pull the wire/plug off? I'm getting tired of breaking the little tabs off the wiring harness. And of course the wiring plug won't stay in once the tabs are broken off.

Once the tabs get aged and brittle, especially from the thermal cycles under the hood, they snap off very easily.
