Vibration in the drivetrain
1993, F150, I6, 2W drive, split drive shaft, 145,000 miles
Lets see if I can explain what I am hearing. At the point when the transmission shifts to the next highter gear, if I were to get off the gas and then get slowly on the gas, I get a low rumble and a tinging sound at the same time? I can duplicate the vibration at around 1500 rpm usually when I slowly accellerate the truck. I bought the front and rear U-joints but have not changed them yet.
Any thoughts?
