As long as I'm on the interestate and going 65mph no problems.
But let me run around town and have to push the truck to pull it'll start bucking.
New; FORD Parts;
front and rear pumps FORD OEM's complete assy's.
fuel switching canister, fuel filter
tank selector switch
both eec and fuel pump relays
tps
New tuneup parts, etc.
Can this truck run w/o the hi-pressure pump along the frame.
When I pulled the 5th wheel camper last it started this mess and smelled almost like it was leaning out. No cat on exhaust, so its not stopped up/clogged. It got so bad pulling the mountain that I had to stop and lock in 4lo to pull the last bit.
This is driving me crazy. Seems the hotter it gets (both ambient and eng. temps) it get's worse. I can back off on the throttle and it'll even out, but as soon as I'm back in it, it'll start back.
This one is kickin' my butt.

I would tape a fuel pressure gauge to the windshield and if the pressure drops below 30 psi I would change the rail fuel pump. As you go to WOT the pressure should go up to near 40 psi.
