What kind of vehicle are you putting this in?
Not sure how big their "brain box" is but I put my AVIC-N1 box under the pass. seat in my F250. My Sirius unit is wedged under there too. Easy to get to (2 bolts/2 nuts) and the seat still moves forwards/backwards without issues.

I've mounted my Alpine Brain under the seat on my Excursion, I have fit the same size brain under the dash below the cup holders in an SD and I mounted a brain under the rubber cover in the center console of an Excursion
