The wife smacked mirrors with another vehicle and busted the outer shell of the drivers mirror and the turn signal lense.
Anyone sell replacements? Prefereably in Chrome but Black or White is ok too?
I am not talking about the chrome covers that tape on, but an actual replace ment mirror shell. All I seem to be able to find are the tape on style and I want to remove the broken shell and lens and replace just that portion.
You'll have to get them from Ford. Try contacting one of our Ford parts sponsors like Direct Ford Parts, or Y2KFord. They come as an assembly with the plastic part and the amber light. You can get black, chrome, or ready to paint I beleive.
I broke mine too. I just got a set from dfuser but I have not put them in yet. I plan on doing it this weekend I will post how easy or hard it was.

Had to do this recently. It was very easy. Just pry of the old ones off and pop the new one on. No need to take the mirror off the truck. Everything can be handled from outside.
I was reading the instructions and they talk about removing the glass???
Did you have too or did you pry from the outside???
Please let me know so I don't mess up the new ones
Thanks
Glen
I didn't remove the glass. Just pry the old one off. If I recall it has a three point bracket holding it on with snap clips. The hardest part was getting it off, because I didn't have instructions so I was worried I was going to break something. I destroyed the old cover because one of the clips didn't want to come loose. Putting it back on was a snap.
There are three or four tabs that hold the back cover on. You adjust the mirror as far as you can to the left and access tabs behind it (with a long screw driver) then move it all the way to the right and access the others. There should be some threads on here with better instructions. I had to take mine off to change out the signal lense and it was pretty easy.
I have email Dfuser.com and 1stfordparts.com because I was unable to locate the covers on their sites. Anyone have any direct links? What shoudl I expect to pay?
By the way, thanks for all the help, I appreciate it.
I got my Chrome covers from Ford. I don't have the part numbers handy. They ere expensive but worth it to me.
Adjusting the mirror to the left and right as stated above is how I did it. It was easy and the Chrome looks better. I just told the part person that I wanted the chrome package mirror caps from an 06 SuperDuty.
