Howdy all, I need help. I need to replace the drag link on my lifted
(4" I think)74 F250 4X2. The problem is my drag link is two piece but the picture at the parts store shows one piece. They also can't tell me the length of the drag link in the picture. Mine is 41" from pitman arm to the spindle, center of bolt to bolt. Interestingly they show the 4X4 draglink to be two piece. Does anyone know the length of the 4X2 drag link?
Thanks for the link. I looked it up and it does not show any two piece units. I am guessing that my F250 doesn't have the original style, thats why I was asking if anyone knew the actual length so I can buy the correct one. The guy at Napa said that if I have it delivered to the store I have to take it.
Upon closer examination it looks like the person that did the lift took the drag link, cut it in half, threaded it and put it together with a coupling to give it the ability to be made longer for the suspension lift. Bummer. Luckily I am a Fire Sprinkler contractor and have a pipe threading machine. I just hope I have the correct die. Should have bought a 4X4.
