As it says in my sig, I deleted my roof rack. Thing is, I still have the screws in the holes to keep water from intruding. Anyone else that deleted their roof rack do anything different?
I did that on a 94 E-150 . Needed to clear a pipe in a parking garage at work.
Primed and painted each hole to prevent rust - just used the OEM touch up paint bottles. Then I used 3M black weatherstip adhesive and black rubber plugs. Only had it that way for a year - never saw any leaks or rust bubbles starting.
Thanks for the responses fellas. I was actually looking into doing what you said Frat, but I couldn't find the little rubber plugs anywhere. Where did you find yours?
