A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work.

I haven't gone ice fishing in years. There are a few lakes around here that are good I think. We pass Yellow Lake on trips to Penticton and there is usually someone fishing it.

Ice fishing is fun, theres two ways to do it right.

One with a ton of booze, the other without. Both are enjoyable

I remember a couple guys I worked with in Alberta. Build this nice big tent and have heat and the works. One guy lights up a smoke and woosh, bye bye tent. Turns out there was a leak on the heater. Nothing hurt but the tent.

That's one fishing trip to remember! The nic thing around here is it doesn't get cold enough where you need a hut.But the booze is a help.

They were pretty freaked out. Pretty lucky to not have gotten hurt either.

That is why, when I was ice fishing, I always used a coal stove. TONS of heat, very little smoke, and no flamable gas.
