simple bell housing question

I need to know EXACTLY what other motors have the same trans bolt pattern as a 429.

More specifically, will the trans on my 429 go on my 400?

Once again, thanks in advance for any info

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 20-Jun-02 AT 10:56 PM (EST)]yes its the same bolt pattern. If its an auto. you will need a different flexplate 351/400 have a smaller bolt pattern on the crank than 429/460.
Good Luck Andy
