2008 f-350 problems

I had the radiator blow out on my 2008 in Dec. I Bought the truck in Nov. When it was in for repair (3000 miles ) they shorted the battery to the bumper now the truck is pleged with electrical problems. check engine light on / pcm problems (tests bad) / overheats / The dealer tried to replace pcm but then the truck won't start with new one. They put old one back in for now and said they would call when they figure out what to do.

Wow sounds like you got a bad one if it keeps up see if ford will just trade your truck for a new one with not so many problems some dealers do it good luck....

a few questions what motor do you have and how do you know they shorted the bat to bumper? if you have proof of the shorting i would just about demand another truck since the 08 are mostly all electrical and if they pcm is bad the sjb is not far behind

Doesn't sound like a bad truck. It sounds like idiods working on the truck. I would start pushing the dealer to make it right.

There is a 3 inch burn on the bumper and the post on the battery has a large burn on it. The mechanic admitted to doing it also. The motor is a 6.4 It is an awsome truck
