That is sad, they would be so much better off in my freezer!
Were I live is too low of an altitude for elk, and I think I have only seen a few deer running around.

LOL in your freezer, well elk and deer jerkey is very good. i got some when i was at white swan days, since i use to live over there.

There is no such thing as too low for elk. I've seen them down onto the river deltas draining into the Sound. This is as close to sea level as you can get without being wet.
