Question about starting?

Sorry if this type of question has been asked before, just don't have time to search. I recently got my truck (95 F150 5.9L 4x4) back from the shop. There they did Flushed the coolint and put in a new thermostat in. When I picked it up it took me 10 seconds of holding the key over before the truck starts! Normally it just takes a quick second. Once it gets going the "check Engine" stay on. They say its a just bit of water in the lines but I don't believe them because it hasn't gone away.
Do any of you have any suggestion. Is it just water in the lines? Could it be a sencer?

Thanks in advance.
