I have a 460 which I'll be driving in Mexico, and would like to put a fuel filter/water separator on it for times when I am fueling up in remote areas without good fuel supplies. I have the fuel filter/water separator from a 7.3 diesel; these are very good units, and do not seem to be made specifically for diesel engines. I'd like to frame-mount it. Will this work, or will there be problems with pressure in the fuel lines?

 

As long as you are running a carb. that filter will work fine with carb. fuel pump pressures. Not sure about with the higher pressures of fuel injection.
