Its $50.00,,,,, what the heck.... why the difference? Which is the one i want? Is the $50 one some revised one? I'd prefer the $30 one but not sure where the difference lies in the two...
wish i would have known about the aftermarket option, i got raped for about $90 at the stealership! I'd go with whichever tube Ford's part number for your truck crosses over to.
You guys are scaring me. I have the EGR fault and just havent musterd the mental energy to get in there and fix at it. Jeez, I didnt want it to be that expensive.
I'll wait till you get the right answer on the part number before I proceed. It's too chilly outside to be working under the hood anyway.
EGR fault in most cases if you have a code but not a driveability issue is the DPFE sensor, and that's about 90 bucks too. You might try taking your egr valve off and cleaning the build-up around the egr ports in the intake.
if your oem part number crosses over to the more expensive one, there has to be some difference in the two that make the necessity to make two different tubes. Two different numbers means two different parts and it sounds to me like your truck's part number crosses over to the more expensive one.
