are the accel coils for the 5.4 any good? do you notice a difference in performance? at 225,000 mi, i'm sure some new coils wouldn't hurt anything! anyone use the accel coils off of ebay? thats a good deal there, buy all 8 from a trusted performance brand or 2 oem!

No issues noticed with my Accel coils yet and have just over 20,000 miles on'em, no difference noticed in performance, they were just way cheaper than buying OEM's, I bought one OEM up here in Canada and I think it was about $120 for one.

I haven't had any problems with the coils themselves. I just did the plugs myself, and it took a few hours. The two rear plugs are a pain to remove.

Make sure you wait a few hours after driving it. The last thing you want to do is perform this on a hot aluminum head.

does everyone really have THAT much trouble with changing plugs? I'd say after I get all the tools I need beside me it usually takes me about half an hour if I dont screw around. I geuss the fact that im working on my ford tech certification kinda helps though lol.....
