Does your truck hum
I recently put 20 inch wheels with 305 on my truck, along with a leveling kit. Seems like when i get it in it hums or rattle on the passenger side. I cant figure where the noise is coming from. Can anybody give me an idea of what to check, or what to do to remedy it. Thanks

Rattles and noises can be tough. I would make sure your basic bolts are tightened down from the leveling kit install. I would then make sure any wheel weights are on good and not loose. Also, check your tire for anything stuck in them. I once had a rock stuch in between my treads that made a click sound. Also, you might have someone drive your truck while you ride in the passenger seat and see if you can locate the noise.

I'm assuming the new tires are a lower profile than stock. Even going from a 65 to a 60 can give you a road hum. Check the pressure in the tires with a known good gauge to see if it's high. You can't use the air pressure on the door sticker anymore since you have changed tire size and aspect ratio, so just look on the tire and get the max pressure. Take 5 psi off the max recommendation when the tires are dead cold, first thing in the morning. See if the hum improves. I've seen guys at the tire shop or oil change joint put 20 psi too much in tires - I've had tires ruined by this, and the effects can spread into the wheels, brakes and suspension.
