12v constant power supply

I was under my dash yesterday (2006 f350 cc psd) and hooked one of my upfitter switches to the pass through wires in the firewill. When I found the pass through wires, there were also a lot of other blunt cut wires in the bundle and I was wondering if anyone knows what those were for? I'm looking to install my PIE adapter for my stereo and wanted to find a 12v supply without having to tap into something else if I can avoid it.

They are "customer use" wires. They are bundled together and are cut on both sides of the firewall. Enjoy.

I found the 4 customer use pass through wires red, white, blue, and black. Then there were also some blunt cut smaller gauge wires under there as well.

For your PIE there should be a wire bundled to the computer input port thing that is a 12V when the key is in/on

Don't forget if you're talking about the Ford upfitter switches, that they are already wired, fused, and ready for use.
