Filters

Are the filters from deisel filters online as good as the filters from Ford? I'm very careful which filters I use. Thanks

It depends on which filters you are looking at. If you are talking about the Motorcraft branded ones, then the answer is yes.

I am not sure which filters you are looking for, but in come cases better deals can be found.

Here's another site you can check out for oil and fuel filters: http://shop.ivalueinternet.com/shopd...ction/home.htm

They have the OEM Racor filters at prices that are very competitive. I bought 2 Racor fuel filters and 6 Racor oil filters from them a couple months ago with no problems. Everything was as advertised. If I remember correctly, the filters were on my door step 4 or 5 business days after I placed the order. Just another option that's available. A good option for me since I don't live near an International dealer.

Anyone try ebay?? I buy my either motorcraft or racor fuel filters there brand new. I have also bought my donaldson air filter there too. I have several fuel filters, several oil filters (motorcraft brand) and right now one air filter in stock. They are alot cheaper than other places i have seen, plus they come with a guarrantee if it is not the right one or the seller lied. You can send it back. I have had good luck with it for the past year now. just my 2 pesos...

Just behind the radiator on the passengers side. From what I remember, it's aluminum and kind looks like the oil filter cap on the top of the engine only smaller and upside down. You access it from under the vehicle. Hope that helps.
