Headers

I'm looking into getting some headers for my '95 f150 302 2wd. Are these what I should be looking for?

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

Thanks.

Those are indeed what you're looking for. I have the same headers on my '90 302 and I've had no problems.

You will need to make your own Y pipe, and if your going to do dual exhaust you will need 2 cats 1 on each bank, and if you are going to go with a single exhaust you will need 1 bigger cat, like 3" vs 2 1/2"

I don't think you can legally run long tube headers in cali. Skandocious had this problem earlier this year.

You cant have long tubes in NJ and the DMV didnt even notice. Maybe get a set of equal length shorties. You can see if a private shop will over look the long tubes.

1.7 roller rockers are apparently a good modification for some power. Cold air intake, although some don't believe in them much. Legal shorty headers are still better than stock manifolds. That's all I can think of off the top of my head. At least as far as mild upgrades go.

Oh yea, I forgot about the underdrive pulleys. Oh and these trucks benefit from a hotter ignition. I've got MSD wires, coil, box soon to come, NGK v-powers run well in em'.

This is just my 2 cents but i would spend a little more and get a set of ceramic headers if you going to keep my dad had a set of cheap headers on his car and they rusted out on him in 2 summers of driving....He told me never again....Thats why i got coated headers for my truck they were like double of no coated but they will last the life of my truck....
