429 identification
mark a kabala hey I'm new on the internet and i'm having one heck of a time tring to get this info. after reading what i did find,i'm really confused. i have a1977 F-100 factory ordered 6 foot bed,with a 429 cj,soo I was told. these are some id numbers i located.. on the block DIVE 6015 A2B on the heads D3VE A2A on the intake D5VE-942 then numbers ground off and E could someone tell me what this is thank you mark k

The heads aren't CJ heads that's for sure.
How many valve cover bolts ?
I'd say probably a 460,it ISN'T a 429

Those are the same heads I have on my 460. I have a friend with 4 460's in his shop all out of trucks and that is the same heads on those also.
Also does anybody know if these heads came with screw in rocker studs or have mine been machined to accept screw ins?
