Racing fans

How many racing fans have we got here. If we have enough intrest we could attempt to set something up during the summer. There alot of small tracks in the province. Even some drag racing as there is Mission and the track just outside Ashcroft.

If we have enough intrest we can check track schedules and see if we can come up with something.

I use to drive by Mission Speedway everyday, though, I haven't watched a race there since the 70's. When my pop use to race a VW Bug (high 11's/low 12's)

I think I was at Mission once when I was a kid. My dad's thing was demotlition derby. He was pretty good at it. They did it at Callister Park, (I think it's long gone now) which I think was in Vancouver a few times at the Cloverdale fairgrounds.

I used to go to Western Speedway in Victoria.I would hang out in my neighbour's pit as kid and watch him in the demolition derby. He drove a '77 Ford 1/2 ton called Rambo. He was a bad man.I would definately be interested in a gtg.Ashcroft usually has good weather.

OK Ashcroft is one possibility we can look into.

Ashcroft doesn't have their 08 schedule up yet. I'll keep checking and see what they have for dates.

If it's the track alongside the highway I have passed it many times. I was actually looking pretty run down the last few times I went by. They must have done some work on it. It looks pretty nice in the pictures on their site.
