How often do you raise your hood?

I would like to know how often you guys open your hoods. My wife thinks I have a problem, because when I get home in my truck I open my shop door and pull my truck in. Now I just built a new shop this summer, 40' X 60'. First thing I do before I get out of the truck, I unlatch the hood. Next I go to the front and open the hood. Then I bring what ever it is I need to bring into the house. This is where my wife thinks I'm strange, she will come into the shop and see me standing on my bench looking under my hood with a flashlight in one hand and a Miller Lite in the other.

Is there something wrong with me, because this is every day. Worst on weekends.

Usually i change up what's in my hand, normally don't have a flashlight. But for the past few months ive been looking under the hood trying to find the leak.

My neighbor comes over all the time whenever my hoods up(3-5 times a week) and asks"Whats wrong with it now?" My normal reply is "nothing, just making improvements" He is not a gear head, nor is my wife. THEY JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND......

I gotta admit I dont check under the hood very often anymore. I used to all the time, but the oil never goes down, and nothing ever seems to go wrong under there!

I always have the speed channel on and FTE on the laptop on at the same time on the weekends when Im home too

Which is the nickname my rig earned very early in it's life, a little 'glitch' that caused the throttle to go wide open if I happened to push the brake pedal and the 'off' button for the cruise at the same time!

I open mine almost daily to check the fuel pressure and oil level, I too have a nagging pressurized oil leak......

I don't really understand Ron. Are they green bulbs? Do then shine green at night? Just replace the old bulbes to these?

there LED 194 bulbs.. I drilled a hole in the top of the head light bucket. I then cut out a 194 hole out of some old tail lights I had..I clue them over the hole in the head light..put in the 194 socket and tap into the parking light.. with the parking lights on.. the head lights are green..the bulbs for the head light are so bright.. when they come on..the green disappears..the 194 bulbs I had in..you could still see the bulb lit up green at the top of the head light..and you could see it in the day time..I found some LED flanks since then..now I cant see it at all unless I look really close...it al so makes the green it a little deeper and brighter green ill take better pics of the mod if you like...

Geezz, the stuff you guys come up with. You don't have to go to the trouble taking more pics, I get the idea. You are just making my list longer and longer.
