4" muffler delete

I finally bit the bullet and did the muffler delete today

I am absolutely loving it. No regrets. If you are on the fence, just do it.
I found myself driving around looking for underpasses tonight enjoying the new sounds.

I did mine when I put on my whole kit, I love it too. Congrats. I think its my favorite mod Ive done so far, I love the way it sounds.

Where did you find the peice of pipe to replace the muffler? I was going to do mine but i need a 2 ft piece of 3.50.

There goes your fuel mileage HA HA.. I see your from Wayne PA where is that located ? I live near Allentown.. Wait until its cold out, it sounds like you have a jet taking off outside !!

I'm about 35 miles south of you near KOP.
I got the pipe from a local guy who strait piped his 6.0.
He had about 50" i bought off of him for $20. I don't know if that is a good price but it works. I think I have enough pipe to do a second truck.

Any local parts store should be able to get the pipe for you, mine was about $20.

Which is better muffler delete by mbrp or the pipe from the parts store?

Sry to hijack, but can u run this muffler delete without a cat?

pipe from parts store is cheaper - I looked at the mbrp but i stated it only works on their system.

Are any of you guys taking off a stainless muffler looking for a FREE MUFFLER DELETE PIPE!?! If you read my post yesterday I am looking for a 4" ss muffler and have a 4" ss delete pipe to trade. PM me bc I dont want to hijack (more than I already did) Thank guys and sorry brwolfjr.

Yes you can do it with out the CAT. No inspection problems!!

I paid 75.00 to have a muffler shop cut the stock muffler out and throw a coupla feet of 3 1/2" pipe in there, They also gave me 4" of 4" for the intake mod., Sounds great and power increase was noticeable immediately.
