That pic on the hill reminded me of this:

And this one. Proof that short trucks can flex.

This is the rear wheel, there is still a lot of room in that wheel well.

I will admit, it did make me a bit uncomfortable seeing the truck contorted in such a way. But she handled it just fine.

I thought your truck was a longbed. It's even better looking than I thought. IMHO you have one of the best looking trucks on this site. I'm so jealous I'm friggin' green.

Two thumbs up my friend.

And Two wheel drive wouldn't make it through without a running start...saving my pennies for a limited slip...or maybe just a driver mod
Is that a factory Ford color?

Either way, do you know what color it is, or what paint code? I think I might go with something like this on my truck.

Thanks, I try really hard on the "clean" part, especially living in the salt belt.

Nope, she's a shorty. I actually bought it on ebay thinking it was a long bed. I didn't even realize it wasn't until I flew down to pick it up. I was kinda disappointed at first, but now I love the short box.

Coming from a guy that owns a truck that's as sexy as yours, that means a lot.

haha, thanks. your truck is amazing. what size tires are those? they look bigger than 31's. did you buy new tires already????

it's very rare to find a 351 in a single cab short bed F-150. Usually they are found in 3/4 ton trucks. was your truck a special order?

your 351 would sure sound good breathing through a magnaflow muffler.

The 351 and 302 sound remarkably similar with, straight pipes and glasspacks anyway. Friend was helping me with rear brakes, and had his truck backed up the driveway into my shop, and my truck was pulled in. With them idling, standing between them, they were identical sounds.

True but I've heard 302's that sounded like crap. I like how they sound with Magnaflow. TexasGuy has a 302 with a magnaflow muffler. He has a sound clip of it, I love it!

these are bigger, these are my brand new 32x11.5's. It's funny, they look so much more agressive than my old worn out tires. But they ride like a dream and are so quite compared to my old ones.

I don't know if it was special order, since the PO wasn't the original owner. He thought the hood ornament was supposed to come with the truck. My last truck was a reg cab, long bed with the 351 and my dad bought it from a dealer's stock, so they are out there. about 10% of gen 9 f150's had the 351, so they are harder to find. if you want an EB, that's around another 10% or so in 95 & 96, so your odds of finding a EB with 351 from 95 or 96 is about 1%. So you can see why I went totally nuts when I saw this one for sale.

It is true that they sound very similar. I had true duals with no cats and Flowmaster 40 delta's on my last truck and absolutely loved it. I know that a lot of guys here don't like flowmaster though. After we were done getting it together, the guy who did the welding looked at me and said "It sounds just like a mustang."

Wow they look great. Your rims are 7.5'' wide?

I like Flowmaster. Depending how you use a Flowmaster, it can make some six poppers sound mean.

Yes 7.5" wide. I've seen guys run 33x12.5's on them but it looks a bit weird. I think there are a lot of tire places out there that wouldn't even mount a tire that wide on a rim only 7.5" wide.

I agree Bill. I think it was you that put up a clip of your exhaust, and it sounded great! There's a couple of 6 cyl F150's in my town that sound good. One is a 300, and the other is a later model 4.2 V6. Both have Flowmaster 40's and sound really good.

Skyfox, that's an absolutely beautiful truck, it looks great with those tires!
