I have a 77 linclon 460 I bought, and I had it bored 60 over and crank ground 10-10. I have a big cam, a valve job with new springs, new flat top pistons, double roller timing, hi volume oil pump. Anything else you can think of would be helpful.

What are the cam specs? Big isnt always better. You need to think about the cams rpm range versus your trucks rpm range. In a big 4x4 truck your gonna wanna hit peak hp around 4500 not 7000 like a drag car. If you hit peak hp your torque peak should be lower say 1500-2000 rpms which is great for a big truck. If its a 2wd and your gonna run big gears for fast drag type driving thats a whole different story.

I'm building this truck for low end torque. The cam is hydrolic, with .490 valve liftand .280 cam lift with 212 duration at .050" and 110 lobe spread. I advanced the cam for more torque.

I'd suggest headers. The 385 exhaust port is the most restrictive component on the engine. Stock exhaust manifolds, including the CJ, were designed to help allow the 429 to fit between shock towers in vehicles like the Mustang and Torino and further restrict the exhaust port.
