Thumbs up Newly installed 3" leveling kit

Just for those who are interested, I just put in a 3" leveling kit on my 05 F-150 4X4. For me it wasn't easy, I had a friend help me. We took it too a auto shop where you can rent bays with lifts. It took about 2 hours, but you still need allot of tools that I didn't have but they did at the bay. My advice get some help from someone and watch your brake lines when installing it. If there are any other questions, just ask, I will try to help...

I bought the kit off ebaY, from hellbentsteel company, a real solid piece of steel. I took the whole shock off the vehicle, it made it easier..

Is your truck sitting level? I ask because from earlier posts you were not sure if it would be nice up or not.

aye, you have to take it off the vehicle for all of em, but did you have to take the shock and spring apart from eachother?

Were you able to get it aligned back to specs? I always figured autospring didn't make a 3 inch because you couldn't align it right.

i just got a camera so i'll post pics of mine in the next couple days... got a kit from truxxx it's 3" front and 1" rear. really simple to put in. took about 3 hours. just an impact gun, ratchet and sockets was all i needed. looks a lot better than my buddy's 2 1/2" leveling kit.....

Here is a picture of it after a 3" lift. I still have stock tires, but I am going to put some 285/70/17 on it. I measured the truck and it is pretty level. The front is 39.5" and the rear is 40".

Man that looks good. I just went from a 2" to a 2.5" and I thought I was squeezing it in there. LOL Hopefully yours works well and it doesn't cause any ball joint issues.
