Just for those who are interested, I just put in a 3" leveling kit on my 05 F-150 4X4. For me it wasn't easy, I had a friend help me. We took it too a auto shop where you can rent bays with lifts. It took about 2 hours, but you still need allot of tools that I didn't have but they did at the bay. My advice get some help from someone and watch your brake lines when installing it. If there are any other questions, just ask, I will try to help...

i just got a camera so i'll post pics of mine in the next couple days... got a kit from truxxx it's 3" front and 1" rear. really simple to put in. took about 3 hours. just an impact gun, ratchet and sockets was all i needed. looks a lot better than my buddy's 2 1/2" leveling kit.....
Here is a picture of it after a 3" lift. I still have stock tires, but I am going to put some 285/70/17 on it. I measured the truck and it is pretty level. The front is 39.5" and the rear is 40".
Man that looks good. I just went from a 2" to a 2.5" and I thought I was squeezing it in there. LOL Hopefully yours works well and it doesn't cause any ball joint issues.
