EDIT: I appreciate the help, but I found the answer.
I know this has already been posted but what are dates between an early and a late 99'. I am ordering a part and they asked if I have a 99.5 or an early 99.

Reason: Found the answer
Ron, I've found when ordering some parts, like suspension stuff, they use 2/99 as a cut off date.
with all the 99's its always best to know the build date on the driver side door post...there is a lot of diffs..early 99 has 3 different front ends.. rear brakes i think are differnt to..on mine any way..the caliper works on both side of the truck......
Yep, I know, Mine is a March something 99 build date and I still have to measure everything to make sure I get the right part. I order 3 sets of sway bar bushing before getting the correct one, all because I didn't measure the bar. At least a the dealer, I can use the VIN.

RON- curious, what were the different front end options? Were there rear axle options as well?

BTW my rear brakes are the same as yours.
i know the hubs hight on the rotors are all diff but take the same pads and ..i think the bearings where changed as well..the rears may be all the same..but was told the caliper's on the rear are left and right on the 99.5..my truck one side fits both....never dug into the 99.5 and up truck..just changes i went though..
Ok thanks. Just curious. You know I went to the dump the other day, and my truck weighed in at 8,700 lbs!!! I didn't have much in my truck other than some scrap carpet, and a few bags of broken tile...couldn't have been more than 5-600 lbs worth of stuff.
Why is my truck so heavy? I've seen duallys on here that don't tip 8,000 lbs.

I'm going to have to go find another weigh station and check it out. I was astonished at how heavy she was...I'd guess 8,200 bls after I dropped all that carpet off...but we didn't have to weigh on the way out so I am really not sure. I probably had 1/2 tank fuel, ...should probably subtract the buck fifty I add to the equation... and the 100 lbs of tools in my toolbox in the back..So I guess my truck only weighs a few hundred pounds more than yours
i have a big box in the back of mine..but its empty. i do have a goose neck hitch that weighs 170 lb..its still a heavy truck though.... you can go to a truck stop and run across the scales..then you will have a idea..
