Yes, but then you have to wonder what shape it will be in and how much it will cost to rebuild what you picked up for so little.

Still good prices though! Just too bad it'll be a 'little' drive for me.

Well, I figure if I'm pulling it, at least I'll see it before I take it, so I'll know how it looks.

That works, especially if you have multiples to choose from!

That looks to be about an hour for me, by the time Joe would get there he would be to tired to turn a wrench.

Long drive to Pipestem from my house.

That would be about a 5 hour ride for Joe to get to the U pull it, then he has to drive home again.

According to Mapquest, an hour to the Dawson location (slightly north of Uniontown), and I think an hour 20 to the West Alexander location.

At any rate, wanna at least see what they got (would love if there were a couple '87-88 Thunderbirds there too!)

Hell, I told my girlfriend about doin this in spring and she says she wants to go! How'd I manage to find this one?

BTW Dave- The Chissy's in blacksville is the only one I know of, I think they specialize in commercial trucks. I think they rebuild some and sell them, but they must not have much of a parts inventory because they don't have a very big lot. Just a small fenced in lot with various trucks, and a metal building. They always have trucks for sale though.

I was never there, but I was told they had a lot of parts.
I guess that must be a matter of opinion as to what is a lot.

I know it's been awhile to bring this back up- but at this upullit place, do they let you take a vehicle inside the yard or do you basically have to cart tools and everything into the yard and then back out?

Garrett, I suggest one of those 4 wheeled carts. They look like oversized kids wagons but these have pneumatic tires. I have one that I use on the property. I use them to haul tools for various projects all the time. They'll hold a hundred lbs or so.

When I'm done, I just hose it out and it's ready for the next job!
