Cant stand the rough ride
I have an 03 with the 5.4 and a 6" BDS full suspension lift. I have had the truck lifted for a year now and i thought maybe the springs would settle some and get smoother ride but its so dang rough. Does anyone know if the BDS shocks are just poorly built or what has anyone else done to get a smoother ride. Im not putting down BDS there lift is great for someone who pulls a load alot but i dont. I can pull my heavy 30 ft camper on it and squats maybe 2 inches.

Not sure about the BDS shocks, but what pressure do you have yor tires at? You most likely can lower the pressure in them to make the truck ride better.
What size tires are they, and what are your front and rear axle weights with your normal payload? That information will allow us to figure out what tire pressure you can run.

I run different tire pressures when loaded/unloaded. I also run adjustable shocks, Rancho 9000 or Pro Comp MX6s are the only two adjustables out there. My friend just put a Rubicon Express lift on his 02' and listened to me about adjustables(MX6s) and he is real pleased. He is even running dual shocks. He said no comparison to the Rancho 5000s he used to run.

i had a 4" BDS lift on my 2004 PSD and it rode ROUGH! even changed the shocks to new Bilstein 5100's and it was horrible. so bad i was about to change it back to stock untill i sold it and bought a 2006.
