solid front endswap
what is the cheapest and easiest way to convert that stupid IFS system to solid front. and where is a good place to find a limited slip unit for my rear? i know ive heard of someone having rear disc brakes any info on that would be great too. thanks for any input.

There are alot of links to that mod for the front. I will dig to find one but you can search this forum. I would get it from a junkyard for the cheapest and for the easiest get someone to do it for you. LOL Seriously it takes some work but as I understand it comes with good results.
Not sure on the limited slip other than a used one from a junkyard. They are pretty common on our trucks.
Also searc this forum for rear disks. tjbeggs did it to his so search for his threads and go to his pics as well.

I just got quoted $2200 bucks for everything needed for a solid axle swap- complete axle hub to hub, springs, steering linkage, track bar and bracket, front driveshaft, and front yoke off the T-case. It's not a cheap conversion to do, but as I understand it everything bolts right in.
