Std. Transmission years ?s
I'm going to be getting a new(for me) psd 250 or 350 in the coming months and have a question. What are the years of the 6spd standard? Is there a 5spd? What years or is it an option? Just want to find out. I've been looking at 2000 +/- 6spd 4x4 psd.......... I can't recall any 5spd but didn't know if they had any, thanks.

1999 and up SDs the 6 speed manual was an option. Not a lot are built but it was an option. I know cause my first truck I tried to find one with a ANY motor and couldnt, eventually settled on the 2000 SD now sold.

Well thats not really true. The 95-97 series trucks with the PSD had the ZF-5 close ratio and the gas engines had the ZF-5 with wide ratio.
