Check out what I found Ebay. A King Ranch Edition Excursion. Being that Ford never offered a King Ranch Edition, I always wondered what one would look like. It looks like they did a good job on it, but its questionable if its really Castano Leather. Thought I'd throw this out there and share what I found with everybody.
Yes it is just an Eddie Bauer, and its definately a custom job. Since there were no KR logos on the seats, as I said I found it quite questionable if that is really Castano leather.
obviously the seats have been recovered, as I have not seen a color that offensive since 1979. Aftermarket sunroof. Odd that it has step bars and no mud flaps.
Whoever redid the seats did a darn good job though. I have a feeling its not the fancy KR leather though.
Im surprised though. ITs got 265/70/16's on it which are actually shorter than the stock 165/75/16's wonder why?
I wonder if the seats got redone because they were really jacked up or something???
looks good though
I also noticed that the tires were 265/70/16.
This leather and the King Ranch are basically a daily thing I see as I am from Kingsville. I live about 10 minutes away from the entrance of the Ranch. Every Christmas and New Years I go there to celebrate the holidays with my family, theres a small community within the ranch with a school.

Whoops.... that one jogged the memory chip. (anyone else?)
Anyhow, I've often thought about cloning a "King Ranch X"... of course, I'd include all the King Ranch stuff associated with the KR Super Duty... steering wheel, console cover, grab bars, badging... all missing from the "King Ranch" ebay link vehicle. I'd like to see one that was done "right" not just the seats.
Ah, those seats... megabucks if done correct. (My reasoning behind not making a clone)... And on ebay you can get all kinds of KR goodies finished in that special leather.
