I currently have a strait pipe from the cats on my 95 f150. I want to put maybe a glasspack on it? But i dont want to cut off the cats, what will sound the best? I realy dont wana drop alot of money on a flowmaster or something, just something from autozone or advanced auto parts. What can i do?
IMO, if you just want something cheap from AZ I would go with a glasspack. They probably still sell the cherry bombs. Last time I bought one was a few years ago though.
What is "best" is not answerable. It is all in the ear of the beholder. There are 400+ pages on this Forum and the question is usually posted, I would guess, 2-4 times per page...just start reading.
if you have that cats and just a pipe out of them dont put a gp on behind the cats it will not change the sound one bit now performance gas milage i hav no clue dads 94 had a glasspack behind the 2 cats it rusted off after years the sound never changed but here in terre haute indiana you can walk into AZ or advanced and pay 15-25 $ for a cherry bomb g choice is yours just offering you a way to save 15/ 20$ it wont sound any different good luck
I have a glass pack on each pipe. Never made a difference from what I can tell. Waste of money. If you don't pull with your truck I'd say just cut off everything, it would sound good.
