wow...sad lightening... on a happy note, Royal Ford just got an '03 lightning in today!!!
i think i'll keep my truck over the 40mpg civic...
not that i was considering it anyway...

The newer crash test ratings are way different then the old ones.
Check the crach test ratings on a civic comparable 1992 ford focus!!
Oh wait, the focus hasnt been around that long

22000 would run through anything, except maybe another 22000 lbs! Your 5000 lb truck and my 2000lb car would be toast!

I tend to somewhat disagree that the axle catching the remains of the car caused the 4x4 to roll. The forward inertia of the civic had to play some part, as it enveloped the front end of the 4x4.
