Excursion VIN to options list

This is probably something known to all....except me.... I've been surfing far too long this AM and can only find sites that want to sell me vehicle history reports....

I just acquired a 2003 Excursion and would like to bounce the VIN somewhere and get a list of all the factory installed options for the vehicle. I did this on the Ford site and it returned only the most basic info. Is there somewhere the VIN will get me a list of all factory installed options?

A lot of people ask this and I still don't know of a definitive place.

However, most of us can tell you what came with your truck and what was an option.

I work for a very large fleet leasing company and we have our own inhouse vin decoder we use for our lease returns. If you post or send me the VIN I will run it through our decoder and see what it says.

VIN decoders will only give you limited info. What you want is a "Build Sheet".
