I like my turbo back MBRP.... 3.5" Downpipe with the rest at 4" without the cat/muffler.

I third the MBRP system. However, I have deleted the CAT and I love the sound.

I was looking at the 4" DP and 5" all the way back with out the cat....this doesn't seem to be the popular answer. Does the smaller size help with compression or something?

The smaller down pipe helps with installation and it still reduces the egt. You will not see any performance difference with a larger pipe. The 3.5 inch down pipe and 4 inch back will handle well into 500 hp

A 4" downpipe is a very tight fit and usually has to be crimped or you have to hammer in the seam on your firewall to make it fit.

The 5" exhaust is more for looks because it won't give you any more performance than a 4". That is why the most common systems are 3-1/2" downpipe and 4" the rest of the way.

I've been looking and talking to people and one guy told me Magna doesn't offer a 3.5" DP and swears on his reputation that a 4" DP from magnaflow will fit with no modifications! Is this true or should I just save for the MBRP. I do see some of FTE sponsors sell a Magna cat back system, I could get an MBRP 3.5 DP & Cat testpipe seperately. Would that work?

$700.00 to $1200.00 depending on the material type (e.g. stainless (304, 409) or aluminized)

My 4" CAT back Silverline Stainless Steel exhaust is a great value. It gets the job done, sounds Grrreeaaat!, and was less than $350.00... My CAT remains because SoCal LOVES felines.

i am also debating which exhaust to get. i was initially looking at the banks monster duals. which would be my best bet quality, performance, and look wise between the banks duals, mbrp duals, or silverline duals?
