I got the magnaflow on my personal 2004, and on my 2005 work truck. Looks and sounds great. I didn't have any clearace problems on either. DP wasn't very fun to put in though. 2005 I put the MBRP exhaust tip on cause I thought it looked better.
I hear alot about the Magna and MBRP but does anybody got any thoughts on the Silverline Exhaust systems?
I have a Silverline T304 stainless CAT back exhaust on my F250, and I love it! The price was the initial draw, but the fit and function really sealed the deal for me. I'm not really big into buying the "name". I'm more into the value of things, and IMHO, Silverline is an exceptional value.
Once i get the $ i am going with 304 MBRP 3.5" D.P. 4" with cat and muffler delete pipes so i can throgh them in when need be. Can't wait. Right now looking for the best place that has the price. Any suggestions anyone?
I've been looking and talking to people and one guy told me Magna doesn't offer a 3.5" DP and swears on his reputation that a 4" DP from magnaflow will fit with no modifications! Is this true or should I just save for the MBRP. I do see some of FTE sponsors sell a Magna cat back system, I could get an MBRP 3.5 DP & Cat testpipe seperately. Would that work?
That is correct I have the magnaflow 4in turbo back. They flattend the down pipe where it meets the up pipe. Zero clearance issues with my system very well enginered.
They do include a 3.5 down pipe with there turbo back Tuner Series but its not very popular.
I have a Magnaflow 4 inch stainless steel from the turbo back with no cat. I got the 5 inch dual layer tip on it and they installed it in about an hour. It sounds great and with it on, and it has taken away some turbo lag too. I have never seen the egt's get over 875 even in extreme on the Bullydog ( which i do not run in extreeme very often but you have to test it out once in a while
So... If a state trooper pulls you over and decides to have a look at you trucks exhaust, you have a way around that? Don't underestimate the laws reach...
