PLEASE HELP truck still not fixed
Took truck to tranny shop and i was told that he believed that there was no internal damge to my trans but i did have a problem he pulled 2 codes the first PO603 and PO733 he told me that he thinks it is wiring or computer related he thought that the computer was telling the trans to do things it shouldn't be telling it and for those who don't know whats going on the truck will do fine for a few days and then the next i can be driving along and its like it goes into neutral rpms rise and speed falls off its does this in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gear and not all the time i've had it to my local dealer and they told me 3rd gear was shot but the trans shops says it something else don't know what to do please help

603 = KAM code Keep Alive Memory, this is a common code on a chipped truck.
733= gear three ratio error. Nuff said. sounds like the dealership may have been right your third gear may be shot. 2001= mechanical diode tranny, Known to fail.

trans was aready rebuilt at 27,000 the mechanical diode should have been replaced, the tranny shop told me that they drove it put 20 miles on it and it never acted up, and by the way my fluid looked he said i didn't have internal problems he thought maybe it was a computer or electrical problem, i just don't know what to do next all 3 places that i have taken it to have told me something different
