Talking Forum widows

My wife has threatened to start an FTE forum widows support group so she'll have someone to comiserate with She seems to think I spend too much time in here (is that even possible?). I've reminded her that there are much worse things I could be spending my time on, both online and off. I've also reminded her that this site has saved us several hundred dollars in needed repairs this year alone. Anyone elses wife not understand how nessesary and valuable this time is?

tell her to call us when you get over 1000 posts, then we'll see about it.

My wife thinks its cool, yet , also hates it. But as you explained to your wife at least it is a clean site that stays somewhat on topic, and you get to talk to a bunch of guys, and girls (cant forget Lisa, and Diane) that all share your same intrests.

My wife makes comments about me being glued to the laptop, but she sits here and just watches Lifetime on TV while I make comments about how stupid those shows are. Ain't marriage grand.

My wife thought that after I bought the PSD that I wouldn't be on here any more, that I used it just to find a truck. Boy was she wrong! But she likes the truck.

I'm actually at my girls gymnastics practice typing this on my crackberry as my wife sits next to me shaking her head. I did show her the post though, she thought it was funny.

Jason... I'm gonna use you as an example of how bad it could get the next time my wife complains! You may need some help though Are there any 12 step programs for PMS addicts?

My wife ws pretty happy when I needed the PC to search for $.01 glow plugs the other day.....but somehow she gets a little crabby when I search fro DP-Tuners, In-Tank Fuel kits, HPX Crossovers, IDMs, PCMs, IC Boot Kits etc..etc..etc...you know the drill. I just tell her.....its a diesel thang. :-)

Sounds a lot like my house, except I'm not married. The GF pretty much doesn't like the amount of time I spend online though, on my "stupid truck forums" LOL.

You're halfway there Jeremy. No all you need is a 19 year old daughtet that spends her evenings upstairs because she doesn't want to hang around her parents. Sounds like your getting acclimated early.

Mine gets a little mouthy about the time commitment to the site, but what she really gets pissy about is the $1200 I have already spent because of it!!!!!

I've had that problem as well. The few dollars it cost's for the supporter badge doesn't compare with the money spent on all the ideas you get reading this forum.

Tell her you could be out cheating on her with ______ or _____, at least she knows where you are, and what you're looking at. (unless you're sneaky and hide another tab of naked women or something)
