Exhaust Issue

So I finally got tired of trying to get the flange to seal between the headers and the pipe on the pass side. Use to be no problem but not it's killin me so I took it to the shop. They're telling me that it all need to be redone from the headers flange to after where the y used to be( I had true duals installed in the summer, we left the orig pipe to the headers and just welded the new pipe in above the y). Didn't leak till couple weeks ago. They say that they need to cut the old sec out and put flex pipe in because the motors torque. If that's the case then why doesn't it come with a flex pipe from the factory/ Is this guy just blowing smoke up my but?

get a bassani y pipe and run a single setup and you wont have to deal with this issue anymore. bummer about the rocker, are you sure thats what let loose?

Yep, they are blowing smoke up your tail pipe as far as the flex pipe. You might have a week mount that could be allowing to much twist and causing it to leak. I have had good luck using two thick flange gaskets and some high temp silicone on all sides and let it sit over night.

That's what I ws thinking, just RTV the crap out of it. I have time to let it sit now since I broke the rocker. Proform is sending me a free replacement, I didn't even ask for it, just told em' I broke it and they asked for a shipping address. That's customer service.
