chirping noise

hello all i have a 05 sport trac adrenaline since i bought it new a little over a year ago it has been to the shop 7 times the first 2 times the ford guys said they couldnt hear the chirp went to a different ford garage where they have replaced the tensioner still chirped then the altenator still chirped then the tensioner again the chirp now turned into a clangy sound when i took it back the last time they kept it for 2 days then said it was a normal sound coming from the injectors and i would have to live with the noise does any one have idea what this noise could b i think they cant figure it out so now i have to live with it help its a ugly noise and embarrassing

I would think they would have another 05 ford with the same motor on the lot. Ask them to hear it run and compair it to yours. I assume you will have to ask them to fix yours or make the other one chirp.:-)

Run it momentarily with the belt off. If there is no chirping, then your problem is in somewhere in the belt drive system. Dealer should be able to do this in 10 minutes.
