Need some Advice

I currently have a 2006 XLT Ext. Cab F250 6.0 with 41200 miles. I've added a 16k fifth wheel hitch, prodigy brake controller etc. for towing my 12k fifth wheel. I recently installed the DieselManor A-pillar 2 gauge (pyro and trans temp) setup along with an SCT tuner from Matt at Spartan. We really needed a Crew Cab but settled for current setup. I have an opportunity to do a decent trade for an 2006 6.0 F350 DRW C.C. Lariat with 24000 miles...Now for my question(s): If I were to remove the gauges, what type of plug could I put in the exhaust manifold where I tapped for the pyro probe? Would it be better not to remove the gauges? I haven't taken my truck to the dealer yet for them to look at.......I know I need to return the tune back to stock and then disconnect batteries etc, then drive the truck for 100 miles or so to relearn strategy, but I'm worried about the tapped manifold. Also, I had to drill a 3/4" hole in the factory A-pillar for the Trans Gauge wiring so I will need to find a new A-pillar......

Thanks for any input, this forum ROCKS......

Tim

most of the pyrometer probes are 1/8 inch pipe thread. It should be easy to find a plug. Use a steel one. As far as the a pillar your just going to have try and find one in a wrecking yard or someplace else. There is a chance it will fit the new truck your thinking of getting.
