Do you have to have the ITP one or is there a homebrew version of this part, 45bucks is alot for some hose???

its more then just a hose..it hides boost with out leaking it..you can get a break on the price if you get the tunes and the OBA together i have heard..

well it's basically a pressure regulator so I guess you could just get a pressure regulator some hose and setup one easily enough

Here ya go Benny, just go to home depot, and grab a pressure regulator with guage ($18.00) then get 4 feet of fuel hose from parts store ($2.00) and find a piece of metal in you shop to bend (maybe 6" long). Use an air compressor to set the new regulator for 22PSI (make sure you look on bottom of new regulator and follow the flow direction, Don't ask how I know) bend your bracket, run a new MAP hose to regulator, then from output of regulator go to MAP input.
