Have a 03 that has some motor oil leaks. Still under the 100k warranty and was wondering if these leaks(either a rear main or turbo or both) are covered? Thanks
Yes, as long as they do not see a bunch of mods. $100 deductible. I have used the warranty and had no problems. The service manager did say to me that they "overlooked a few things" and that the warrnty was good.
Before you take it to them we should try to troubleshoot it first. Where exactly do you see oil leaking from? Do you have oil in the valley at the front of the motor? Oil dripping from the transmission inspection cover? That sometimes will appear to be a rear main seal leak but it isn't. That is where mine leaked from. It turned out to be a leaky HPOP o-ring and also leaking CAC boots.
It seems like I've had oil leaks fixed on a truck under warranty, but it cost the $100 deductible. You might look and see where the leak is coming from and determine if it would be cheaper to fix it yourself.
