Guys

Take a look at this report. The first issue is the one I am worried about. The injectors parts look to have gone through the motor and settled in the pan. Does this mean they went down through the cyclinders or is there another route they could have taken. Otherwise seems to be a clean report/truck.
I posted earlier regarding buying this truck from a friend of mine. 05 CC 4X4 Auto, all options 48k miles for $23K. I do not have any plans to tow with it and I do not really need this much truck, I just have always wanted to have a diesel and this seems like a reasonable way to check one out. I live in Truckee, Ca which gets cold in the winter( single digits) and have read a lot of threads on this forum regarding the topic so I am aware of what it takes to maintain a truck up here.
Anyways, I still a little on the fence about the deal and wanted to see some opinions. Thanks in advance

It looks to me that if the injector had no PSI that the top part of the injector where the oil rail is came apart and passed down into the oil pan through this route. That was 37875 miles. The truck now has 48000 miles. I would think if any other damange was done it would have showed up by now. Other than that it is a pretty clean oasis report. I have a 05 4X4 CC LB with a build date of Jan 05 I see yours is DEC 04. I love the truck and will keep it for the next 15 years at least. Just do yourself a favor and educate yourself about the 6.0L engine.

Thank you for the response. I like the sound of the parts falling down oil passages verses somehow traveling through the combustion chamber. Thank you again
